Barry Hall has come out in today's Sydney Morning Herald and berated journalists for their use of unimaginative Barry Hall adjectives in the lead up to Saturday's elimination final against North Melbourne.
"For years they (the media) been calling me big, bad, bustling Barry. Why not bulky, bombastic, baneful, belligerent, barbaric - hell, i'd even take bawdy.
"Ben Cousins is always 'disgraced', Sonny Bill Williams is constantly described as embattled, Anthony Mundine cops the adjective 'polarising'. All i'm asking for is something different."
Hall has also dared any of his potential markers to bait him, making mention of his new found calmness, directly attributable to co-captain Brett Kirk
"Kirky and i have been meditating daily for the last few weeks, to try and get rid of some of the built up anger that i have inside of me, anger that has been festering away for some time now.
"So if anybody baits me this Saturday, they better be ready for "Karma". Karma being what goes around comes around - i.e. my fist on their head."
