Sunday Night Quarterback
August 9th 2010 01:45
As promised, I did watch the first quarter of the Bengals-Cowboys game. I was very disappointed in the Bengals for not showing more of a display of offense with the wide reciever grouping of T.O. and Ochocinco. I was actually looking forward this game all weekend only to come to the realization that the Gamer-Famer game before this one was much more entertaining. Even the Cowboys offense looked lackluster as the offensive line could not contain the Bengals defense. In fact, I think the two defenses looked the best out of all of the sides in the entire game. Hopefully, the regular season will look better out of these two offenses that many including myself believe that these are easily two Super Bowl contenders. Shame Hard Knocks isn't focused on the Bengals this year since it would have been great to see how T.O. and Ochocinco will handle each other.
On a side note, can any other football analyst/ESPN show go one whole show without mentioning Brett Favre and how he is the "best" quarterback ever. I know I can name five that are better than him within the last 20 years. So tired of hearing about it. It is like those old school muscians that continue to have farewell tours and never go away. Cher and The Who I am looking at you.
