Heisman Trophy Candidates 2010

December 1st 2010 02:47

Take a look at my Heisman candidates for 2010. It has been an explosive year and still a lot of football left. This race is still wide open to any of these candidates. Watch the upcoming bowl season because anything could happen!

Cameron Newton QB Auburn Tigers

It has been a strong showing this year for Cameron Newton. A threat on offense whatever he decides to do with the ball wether he runs or passes. Defense have to stay on their toes because of his duak threat. A lot remains to be seen when it comes to the ongoing NCAA investigation he is involved in. Despite the allegation and distractions he still continues to put up big numbers.

Kellen Moore QB Boise State

Kellen is a definate threat laeding this explosive Boise State offense. With 28 touchdowns and only 5 interceptions this is a pretty effecient and smooth operator. He needs to continue to put up the numbers to try to get Boise to the BCS championship game. Depending on the outcome of the Newton allegations he is a very strong candidate that deserves a serious look from the voters.

LaMichael James RB Oregon

This is a great running back in an extremely fast and potent offense. He needs to keep on puting up the rushing yards to at least stay in striking distance. With the end of the regular season and the beggining of the bowl season there is no reason to let up onhis aggresive running. Oregon needs to keep rolling to have a chance at the BCS chapionship.

Andrew Luck QB Stanford

A smart NFL type QB he may not be the threat to put up the numbers of a Newton or Moore but he can still get the job done. Just like the other candidates he doesn't need to let up because with another week in the regular seaon and the bowl games not only Keeping the Heisman in sight but cementing his chances for a high draft pick in the NFL he is a great Nfl prospect for those teams looking ahead to the future.

Justin Blackmon WR Oklahoma State

A seriuos threat all over the field. Put up great numbers in 2010. Just like the rest of the candidates there is no reason to let uo now. Very exciting to watch on the field. No wonder college football is interesting to watch!
