Aussie Cricketers are scared of Pakistan..

The decision by the Australian cricket team to tour India whilst still refusing to tour Pakistan has earnt the ire of Pakistani cricket officials, prompting a swift response by Australian captain Ricky Ponting.
Ponting backed the decision to tour India, making reference to the many dangers that Westerners face when touring Pakistan;
"I have no qualms with touring India ahead of Pakistan. Whilst we all wanted to go to Pakistan, it was just too risky. The prohibition laws they have in place just wouldn't make it a fun place to tour. Its more of a moral stance we're taking than anything, we're campaigning for the rights of Pakistani muslims to enjoy a beer when and where they want it. I also hear Imran Khan is basically running the country now, i wouldn't trust a bloke that used to tamper with the ball in order to get a bit of reverse swing in the 70th over. Geez, that country's gone down the shitter!"
Shane Watson was one player that demonstrated some regret that Australia would not be touring Pakistan, lamenting the chance to represent his country in a test on foreign soil;
"I hear Pakistan is a rough trip, i mean it certainly isn't all photo shoots and red carpet events, but i'm prepared to get down and dirty for my country. I was ready to tour and everything, i even had my Australia/Pakistan power adaptor ready so i could blowdry my hair in the hotel bathroom".
In the aftermath of recent bombing attacks and a devastating earthquake some months ago, India is set to host Australia starting with the first of four test matches scheduled for October 29. Much had been made of the Harbajhan Singh - Andrew Symonds rematch, with rumours that the dust has still not settled since the recent Australian tour, in which allegations of racial abuse were levelled against Harbajhan.
Harbajhan was very coy when asked about Symonds' non-selection in the touring squad;
"Sure, Symonds is going to be a big loss for the Australians. But he's not going to come swinging from a vine to come and save them this time. While he's at home chomping on bananas, scratching himself and wondering what went wrong, we are going to annihilate the Australians 4-0 this series"
When asked if he was again implying that Symonds was a monkey, Harbajhan responded by defecating into his own hand and throwing his faeces at the reporter in an non-verbal act of defiance.

This is why i think Bryce McGain should be sent to sort things out. As an elderly leg-spinner with little to no commerical value, he could be the one to broker piece in the troubled country. I suggest a secretive meeting with ex-Pakistan leggie Mushtaq Ahmed where they nut out possible ways to mend the broken ties. Perhaps the Pakistani team offer the Australians a billeting-style accommodation - where the Australians cricketers are each assigned their own host player who takes them in to their house for the duration of the series. No extremist is going to want to bomb the house of their favourite Pakistani cricketer, are they?
No, they aren't. Unless they are guilty of match-fixing, which unfortunately is 85% of the current Pakistani test team.
