About Time

August 7th 2010 12:18
How hard is it to run 2 shuttle runs? Albert Haynesworth of the Washington Redskins finally completed his conditioning test. I watched Mike Golic the other day take the same test as a 47 year old and completly dominate in which Haynesworth was more like Haynesworthless as he is just sitting on the sidelines. He is one of the highest payed defensive linemen in the league and he can't even complete a shuttle run until 4 or 5 times trying, I wouldn't even start him in any of the games and make a point that he really is worthless to the team. I have a lot of respect now for Shannahan for sticking to his guns and making an example of him to the rest of the football world showing how much of an ego many of these athletes have. I happen to coach high school athletes and I really wonder where that transition begins from being a coachable kid to an egomaniac.

Any ideas?
